A Travis County man alleges that an Austin real estate attorney botched a refinancing deal, leading to a foreclosure and the loss of $500,000 of equity. The allegations include that, unbeknownst to the plaintiffs at the time, the lawyer was also the mortgage broker on the failed deal.
